about 99 words
I’d like to contribute an offering to the web; my sacrificial lamb and virgin. I call it “ninety-nine words” and it’s a narrative experiment whittled down to an accessible paragraph. The bottom line is this: attention spans are shot. These days, quality sentences feel paleolithic and I feel obligated to excavate spare words. This being said, this mini blog or whatever we call it, will champion brevity in the spirit of getting to the core of my thoughts. Why 99 words? 99 is as arbitrary a number as 140 ( sms / twitter characters). I like the number. Deal with it.
